![]() The plastic materials do feel cheaper than my '99 Dodge Neon interior did, it semed to be a bit more padded everywhere. The dash and controls are laid out nicely and the brushed metal look accenting is cute, I have the two tone interior that is black and grey- the doors are a bit plain because they are all one color but other than that it is fine. Usually these days it is just me in the car for my commute but it has been a reliable family car for years when we had only one vehicle for our house. We have a child now and her car seat attaches well in the middle of the back seat, with it out I can get 3 adults in the back if they are very close friends. The interior is spacious enough, you may run into issues if the people in the front and back are both very long legged (like 6'5") but that's it and headroom is good. I regularly haul big bags of soil or mulch or stone in the trunk and back seat as I am an avid gardener in my spare time, and with the back seats folded down you can fit lumber, small trees, and we even got a 48" tv home in it! Usually I keep a Saris Bones bike rack on the trunk, it supports it well. I drive it to and from work on the highway and we have taken several long trips and even hauled all of our camping gear in its … spacious trunk. I would advise anyone to steer clear of this dealership, as their unprofessional behavior and games are not worth the hassle. So the rundown on my Cobalt: It is a 2010 that I bought at the end of 2011 with 32,000 miles on it (it had previously been a company car for an electric company so it had been driven a lot before it came to me.) It now has just over 110,000 miles on it. The audacity of Robert and the dealership to claim that I was unresponsive and not available when they themselves had been out of touch for two weeks while I waited for the title is unacceptable. Typical bait and switch from dealerships. With the abrupt change in tone I can only conclude that they never had the truck or that they never intended to sell it to me since I was from out of state and they couldn’t get me in the dealership to try to sell me on another vehicle. Robert then claimed he couldn’t send me emails and had his IT guy look into it which, per Robert, is the “best IT guy” even though I have been receiving emails all day as it was my work email. I have all texts and emails saved so I can show that there were no further correspondence. I had only missed one call and had immediately returned it, but he claimed he had been trying to contact me through other means. However, the situation took a turn for the worse when Robert informed me that the vehicle was no longer on hold for me per the GM because I had missed one call while getting an MRI done. Despite this, I decided to stick with the original vehicle we had discussed for the sake of convenience and argument. However, I received texts from him that the vehicle was still available, without him realizing it was me and again they are waiting for the “title”. Since I was purchasing this car from out of state, in the mean time I coordinated and paid for an auto transport company to deliver the vehicle to me.Īfter the two weeks had passed, I expressed interest in another vehicle that had just become available on their site, but Robert told me it had already been sold. I still trusted Robert because he kept boasted how they have 52 stores blah blah blah and sold me on all the typical salesman rhetoric. During this time, I made repeated attempts to contact the salesperson named Robert Bell through phone calls and emails, but he claimed not to have heard from me and even stated he was out of town. We agreed on a price, I left a deposit on a vehicle, and waited patiently for two weeks for the dealership to obtain the “title”, which I was a little skeptical since I have never heard of this in all the cars I have purchased in the past. I am sorry to say that my experience with this car dealership was one of the most unprofessional and frustrating encounters I have ever had. EPA 33 MPG Hwy/24 MPG City!
